Rebuilding Lives Conference 2025

The Spinal Injuries Association Rebuilding Lives Conference 2025, held at Stadium MK, focused on “Lived experience at the heart of change: Working together towards a National Spinal Cord Injury strategy.” The conference united individuals living with spinal cord injuries, their families, healthcare professionals, legal experts, and policymakers to explore ways to enhance outcomes and improve support systems.

Our Legal Services Manager, Tracey Connor, and AMG Nursing and Care Services’ Mandy were available throughout the event to welcome attendees to our stand, discuss our services, and connect with the community. It was inspiring to see such a diverse group sharing the same goal: improving lives and building brighter futures.

A highlight of the event was awarding our prize hamper to Hannah Wright, Admission and Discharge Coordinator at British Home. Congratulations, Hannah!

Headway Lincolnshire Annual Brain Injury Conference 2025

We also attended Headway Lincolnshire’s Annual Brain Injury Conference 2025, themed “Included, Not Isolated After Brain Injury.” This event emphasised awareness, inclusion, and the importance of support for individuals living with brain injuries.

At the conference, we aimed to:

  • 💬 Raise awareness of the impact of brain injuries and available support.

  • 🤝 Collaborate with professionals and organisations dedicated to rehabilitation and recovery.

  • 🧩 Show our commitment to being an active part of the community advocating for inclusion and understanding.

Attendees visiting our stand could chat with our team and enter our luxury hamper prize draw, won by Rod Davis, National Healthcare Manager at EA Mobility Group. Congratulations, Rod!

Tracey Connor's (Legal Services Manager) Intake on the SIA and Headway Conferences

For Tracey Connor, attending both conferences was both professionally rewarding and personally meaningful. As Legal Services Manager at AMG, Tracey was proud to represent a team so deeply committed to improving the lives of individuals living with spinal cord and brain injuries. She found it inspiring to see so many professionals, organisations, and individuals with lived experience come together with a shared purpose — to create positive change, raise awareness, and strengthen the systems of care and support available across the UK.

Drawing on her previous experience in clinical negligence, Tracey was particularly struck by how far collaboration and person-centred care have progressed. “Having worked with clients and families affected by serious injury for many years, I’ve seen first-hand the difference that compassion, understanding, and proactive support can make,” she said. “These events are a reminder that when healthcare, legal, and care sectors unite around lived experience, we can make real, lasting improvements to people’s quality of life.”

Our Commitment

By attending these events, AMG Medico Legal and AMG Nursing and Care Services demonstrate our ongoing dedication to supporting individuals living with spinal cord and brain injuries, as well as their families. These conferences are a chance to connect, collaborate, and continue working toward improved care, rehabilitation, and inclusion.

We thank everyone who visited our stands, shared their experiences, and took part in the events. Your dedication inspires us, and we look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by spinal cord and brain injuries.
