A registered paediatric nurse since 2008, a non-medical prescriber since 2017 and a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner since 2022, Shaun currently works as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in paediatric gastroenterology in both acute and outpatient settings. He is also a guest lecturer and OSCE modulator at Sheffield Hallam University for trainee ACPs, and provides mentorship and training for nurses, student nurses and student doctors.

Shaun works in a multidisciplinary team and has his own caseload of chronically ill patients, while caring for patients in emergency and acute settings.

He has worked in a variety of paediatric settings, including acute general paediatrics, haematology/oncology, research, private patients and gastroenterology, resulting in an extensive knowledge of a variety of clinical conditions.

Shaun is awaiting attendance of Bond Solon certified "Excellence in Report Writing" and "Courtroom Skills" training.
