A Registered General Nurse (RGN) with 39 years’ experience of working within the specialty of neonatology and neonatal transport including pre and post transport stabilisation care. A recognised national specialist nursing advisor who sits on a series of national and international clinical working groups and committees within the field of neonatal practice and neonatal and pediatric transport. Has senior experience as both manager and clinical leader within the NHS acute sector.
Was a working party member of the Department of Health Task Force for the development of the Neonatal Toolkit for high quality neonatal services (2009) and of the Expert Working Group for Neonatal Transport.
Is currently an independent nurse consultant and clinical service advisor for Lucy Air Ambulance for children.
She is also Expert Witness Bond Solon trained, GDPR and CPD compliant across all clinical practices.
