Catherine is a Neurological Physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience. She has worked in acute, rehabilitation and community settings with paediatrics and adults with a wide range of neurological conditions. She currently works in a specialist wheelchair service, ensuring clients have equipment which optimises their pressure, mobility and postural needs.

In 2023, her passion for 24-hour postural management led her to achieve a Distinction in a ‘Posture Management For People With Complex Disabilities’ Post Graduate certificate. Catherine is experienced in working with clients in Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness and is familiar with formal assessments of awareness. Her specialist skills include 24-hour postural management, pressure care, wheelchair prescription, spasticity management, casting and splinting, tracheostomy weaning and respiratory care and suctioning. In addition to her neuro expertise, she has experience with amputees in acute and rehabilitation settings.

Catherine prides herself on completing thorough and objective assessments and keeps up to date with the latest evidence base and clinical guidelines.
