Karla brings to AMG her vast experience gained from being a senior leader in health and social care. Her skills include the following: assessing home adaptation requirements for people with complex impairments; leading the transformation of hospital discharge processes, staffing procedures, and rehabilitation pathways; and using her deep understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and DoLS frameworks to review action plans and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards. She currently works as an occupational therapist and consultant, and she has recently worked as an advanced OT practitioner and an integrated services manager.
