A Registered General Nurse since 1992 with experience in the NHS predominately within the Primary Care setting. Previous roles have included Practice Nursing, Chronic Disease Management Specialist, District Nursing, School Nursing and Nurse Advisor for both NHS Direct and NHS 111. Currently working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner within a General Practice (GP) surgery.

Lisa holds a prescribing qualification and undertakes undifferentiated assessments, diagnosis and treatment for adults and children from 8 weeks of age to the end of life. This role encompasses extensive experience within minor illness, chronic disease management, medicines management and adult and child safeguarding. Experience is also held in remote clinical assessment and triage.

Lisa also works as an Associate Consultant to the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), acting as an assessor of Advanced Level Practice in accordance with Health Education England and RCN guidelines.
