Miranda Hodgkin is a Registered Nurse and Non-Medical Prescriber with extensive experience across NHS and private healthcare.   She is currently working as a Children’s Epilepsy Specialist Nurse and has previously held the role of Clinical Assessor for the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Qualified in adult nursing since 1993, Miranda has a strong background in oncology, including haematology cancers and primary bone tumours.  She has progressed through roles including Junior Staff Nurse, Project Manager, and Clinical Nurse Specialist, and has played a key role in paediatric oncology service development across Yorkshire.  Her contributions include creating teaching packages, launching foundation training, and developing Link Nurse roles.

Miranda has worked closely with Public Health England to investigate a pseudomonas outbreak in a haematology unit and remains actively involved in clinical governance and service improvement.

In private practice, she is an experienced aesthetics prescriber with a particular focus on complications management, regularly supporting healthcare professionals in delivering safe aesthetic care.
