A registered adult and paediatric nurse and non-medical prescriber, Miranda has been qualified in paediatric nursing since 1998 and is currently working as a clinical assessor for the Nursing Midwifery Council. She has been instrumental in ensuring multidisciplinary teams within Paediatric Oncology across Yorkshire provide safe, effective service by teaching and assessing nurses to lead. She has run nurse-led clinics and worked closely with Public Health England, researching an outbreak of pseudomonas within a haematology unit. Furthermore, she has been published in the Journal of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology and the Journal of Infection.
