Possesses extensive nursing experience in primary & secondary care settings having worked in Head & Neck Oncology/ENT, Oncology, Rheumatology and Palliative Research trials. Has practised as a Clinical Facilitator on a Department of Health funded project. In her previous role as clinical nurse advisor she has developed transferable skills through dealing with suppliers of home care services and hospital accounts. Works independently and partnership with a multi-professional team, having developed skills as a competent research-based practitioner working alongside management, whilst coaching and supporting junior nurses. Is part of the clinical supervision team, facilitating regular sessions to discuss issues pertinent to clinical practice. She is part of the company’s training team, supporting and developing ‘new starters.’ In her current role as a Community Nutrition Nurse Specialist, she provides advanced screening, assessment and technical skills to manage patients receiving enteral nutrition. Also has current experience of working with a home clinical trial company, supporting patients in their homes, enrolled on medical trials. She can organise, prioritise and deliver what is required to maintain the holistic care of the patient. She is highly motivated with a passion for patient care and improving nursing standards.
